I am really, really not happy about this. Everyone says this means he is ready for a toddler bed. Well, he may be ready but I absolutley am NOT ready for that. Ugh.

Crib net/tent? Nah... He would probably just figure out how to get out of that too! What a BIG BOY!
Too big!!! The problem w/ a net or tent is that they spend A LOT of time interacting over the side of crib. They pass toys back and forth, play silly games, hold hands, even hug each other when they are afraid of the garbage truck... so I think a tent would make them freak out... I'm totally open to ideas though! Keep them comin' (it'll be you soon enough :)
What a great pic!! They are growing up too fast! I understand the dilemma about a toddler bed.. For his sitter, Shane sleeps on the floor on a pillow with his blanket rather than in the playpen..(and for her he goes right to sleep) And he too is part Monkey and climbs on everything at our house.. It's just so sad to think that they are probably ready for toddler beds..
p.s. Have either of your boys started taking the shoulder straps off in their carseats yet? Shane truly loves to show off that talent on most car trips, (no matter how tight we fasten the strap)...
I just can't believe how much they learn soo quickly!
